One thing I consistently hear during our nutrition consultations is, “I don’t know where to start; there are so many different diets out there!”
I totally understand this. There are so many different fad diets out there. One minute, we’re advised to avoid carbs, the next minute to eat them. Paleo, keto, Mediterranean, carnivore, vegan, fasting, time restricted eating – the list goes on.
Trying to search for “what do I need to do to eat healthily” can lead you down a rabbit hole of conflicting advice. It’s like popping into the supermarket for a few items and finding yourself lost because the aisles have been rearranged based on the latest food fad. And the next week, it will have changed again.
