It might surprise you to learn that my path to founding CrossFit Chiltern began on the golf course. As a golf pro, I was dedicated to helping my clients improve their game. But I soon realized that physical fitness played a crucial role not only in their golfing success but also in their overall health and happiness. Witnessing those transformations ignited a fire in me, and I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to helping people achieve their wellness goals.

That’s what led me to the world of personal training and group fitness. I dove headfirst, leading spin classes, aerobics, and even boxing-style workouts. I loved the energy and the connection with my clients, and eventually, I took the leap and opened my own small personal training studio. But I had bigger dreams. I wanted to create a space where I could make an even greater impact, a space with a strong community and a focus on achieving optimal health and fitness.

That’s when I discovered CrossFit. The constantly varied, high-intensity workouts, the emphasis on functional movements, and the supportive community resonated with me deeply. I knew this was the methodology I wanted to share with others.

Building a Community, Building a Better You

CrossFit Chiltern started in a smaller location, but it quickly became clear that we needed more space to grow. Our amazing community of members thrived on the challenge and support, and I wanted to provide them with the best possible environment to achieve their goals. Our current box in Amersham is a testament to that commitment. It’s a place where people of all fitness levels can come together, push their limits, and celebrate their successes.

But CrossFit Chiltern is more than just a gym. It’s a place where we believe in a holistic approach to wellness. That’s why I’m so excited about the launch of our new nutrition program. This program will go beyond just diet and exercise, focusing on six key pillars: movement, nutrition, lifestyle, stress management, support systems, and sleep. We’ll provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to make sustainable changes and live a healthier, happier life.
